Organising the Binance App Address Book So Stablecoin Networks Never Get Mixed Up
Saved addresses in the Binance app speed up withdrawals but can cause network mix-ups if labelled poorly. Learn how to name and maintain entries so each stablecoin goes to the right chain.

Once you withdraw stablecoins to the same destinations often, the address book in the Binance app becomes essential. It saves time and reduces copy-paste errors. But a poorly organised address book introduces its own risk: an entry labelled only with a wallet name can tempt you to select it for the wrong network, especially when several networks use similar address formats. This guide shows how to organise saved addresses so the network is always obvious at the moment you withdraw.
Naming entries with wallet, coin and network
Give every saved address a label that includes the destination, the coin and the network, for example a wallet name followed by the stablecoin and chain. Avoid generic labels like main wallet. When the network appears in the label, you will notice immediately if the withdrawal form is set to a different chain. Consistent naming also makes the list easy to scan.
One entry per network
If you receive the same stablecoin on two networks at the same wallet, create separate entries even if the addresses look alike. Do not reuse an entry for a network it was not created for. Some networks share address formats, so an address valid on one may also be accepted by the form on another, which is exactly the mistake to avoid. When in doubt, open the destination and copy a fresh address for the network you intend to use rather than trusting an old entry.
Combining the address book with the allowlist
Binance lets you restrict withdrawals to saved addresses. Enabling this means a stolen session cannot send funds to a new destination without extra verification and possibly a waiting period. The help centre explains how to switch it on in the app. Together, clear labels and an allowlist protect against both honest mistakes and unauthorised withdrawals.
Regular clean-up
Every few months, review the address book. Delete entries for wallets you no longer use, platforms you have left or networks you no longer need. Verify that remaining entries still match the destination by checking the receiving side's current deposit address. A shorter, accurate list is safer than a long one full of outdated destinations.

Scenario checkpoint
- Label every saved address with the destination, the coin and the network.
- Create a separate address book entry for each network at the same wallet.
- Enable the allowlist so withdrawals only reach saved and verified addresses.
- Delete outdated entries and recheck the rest against current deposit pages.
